Kenora OPP issue warning about rising number of drug overdoses

The Kenora OPP has issued a warning about the rise in the number of suspected drug overdoses.

A list of symptoms for people suffering an overdose include difficulty walking, talking and staying awake.

Others are blue lips or nails, cold, clammy skin and very small pupils, dizziness and confusion, extreme drowsiness, choking, gurgling or snoring sounds, slow weak or no breathing, inability to wake up, even when shaken or shouted at.

Police are encouraging the public call 9-1-1 immediately if you or anyone else is experiencing an overdose.
