Boil water advisory rescinded for Keewatin and Norman

The precautionary boil water advisory in place all week in Keewatin and Norman has been lifted.

The boil water order was given last Sunday afternoon after a water main break at Norman Drive.

Crews managed to fix the break by Monday morning, but the boil water advisory was put in place because the city couldn’t guarantee the quality of the water.

The boil water advisory was finally lifted Friday afternoon after laboratory testing did not indicate the presence of bacteria.
