A familiar name will be running once again for the NDP locally.
Tania Cameron will be the New Democratic candidate in the newly created riding of Kenora-Kiiwetinoong.
This is a new riding created after the most recent riding distribution process.
Cameron was also the NDP candidate in the federal elections in 2008 and 2011 in the Kenora Riding.
There will be a federal election this year.
One has to be called before October 20th by law, but there is speculation the election could be earlier.
Cameron is currently the CEO of the Wiigwas Elder and Senior care home in Kenora.
