A 43-year-old Kenora resident is facing impaired driving charges following a collision Monday morning.
Kenora OPP received a report around 8:30 a.m. about a pickup truck driving dangerously on Highway 17, nearly colliding with oncoming traffic.
Police later found the vehicle, which had crashed into a car stopped at a stop sign on Mellick Avenue around 8:45 a.m.
The driver was arrested at the scene and believed the 43-year-old to be under the influence during their investigation.
The person has been charged with two impaired driving offences.
They also received a 90-day license suspension, and the vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
The driver is scheduled to appear in court on April 17.
