Due to the snowstorm, the City of Kenora says all blue box and curbside garbage collection will not be taking place today.
This includes Rideout, Valley Drive, Minto area, and north of the by-pass.
The waste transfer station remains open, however.
Earlier this morning, the Northwestern Ontario Student Services Consortium cancelled its school buses in the Kenora, Dryden, Sioux Lookout and Red Lake areas.
This included buses to Sioux Narrows, Ear Falls and Upsala.
