Ice Dogs stay the course with executive

No change in the executive for the Dryden GM Ice Dogs.

Mike Sveinson will remain on the president of hockey club.

He was acclaimed to the position this week.

In fact, all the major roles on the team’s executive were acclaimed.

Meanwhile, the Ice Dogs finished the season with a deficit.

The main reason is bussing.

The team’s bus broke down in December, meaning a different bus had to be leased, repair costs for the existing bus, and a loss of revenue from charters.

The bus was finally back on the road in February.

The Ice Dogs executive says the deficit isn’t alarming and will be addressed throughout the summer.

The information was released it the teams annual general meeting.

The team held it’s AGM earlier this week.
