Wildfire smoke still impacting Northwest Ontario

Wildfire smoke will make it harder to go outside on Wednesday for much of the Northwest region.

Air quality warnings are in place for several areas, including Dryden, Kenora, Fort Frances, and Thunder Bay.

Air quality statements are impacting areas south of Fort Albany and east of Longlac.

However, no new fires were reported in the Northwest on Tuesday.

In total, 42 are still burning, 7 are out of control, and 8 under control.

Two were put out since Monday evening.
