$1M in cocaine discovered during Fort Frances area traffic stop

Two women from Winnipeg are facing drug trafficking charges.

A 59-year-old and a 37-year-old were arrested after Provincial Police stopped a vehicle earlier this week in the Fort Frances area.

A search of the vehicle resulted in officers discovering eleven kilograms of cocaine.

OPP estimate the street value of the drug to be close to one million dollars.

Both women are scheduled to appear in court next week.
