2 Dryden residents facing charges following traffic stop

A traffic stop turned into a drug bust in Dryden.

Officers pulled over a vehicle around 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday on First Street.

Investigation during the stop led to the seizure of suspected methamphetamines and other items associated with drug trafficking.

As a result, a 35-year-old and a 33-year-old from Dryden are both facing the following charges:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
  • Fail to comply with probation order

Both of the accused remain in custody with a future court date.
