4 people facing charges following a drug bust

The Treaty Three Police Service and the Ontario Provincial Police have seized over $12,000 cash and a large amount of cocaine and oxycodone.

On Wednesday, the T3PS and the OPP arrested two Seine River residents and two Manitoba residents in the Kenora area following a several month-long investigation leading to the seizure.

A 35-year-old and a 69-year-old from Seine River First Nation are both facing the following charges:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Opioid (Oxycodone)

A 39-year-old and 59-year-old from Manitoba are both facing the following charges:

  • Charge 1: Trafficking in a Schedule I Substance – Cocaine
  • Charge 2: Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000

The 35-year-old Seine River First Nation resident and 39-year-old Manitoba resident remain in custody. The other two have been released with a future court date.
