3 arrested in Dryden drug bust

Three people from Dryden have been arrested following a traffic stop.

It took place last Wednesday, April 1st around 11:30 am, when a vehicle was pulled over on Casimir Avenue.

Some illicit drugs and Canadian currency were seized.

As a result of the arrest, a search warrant was executed on a residence on Machin Avenue.

There, the OPP found methamphetamine, cocaine, hydromorphone, oxycodone, more Canadian currency and other evidence of drug trafficking.

All three face four charges of drug trafficking, and possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000.

They have been released from custody and will appear in court at a future date on the charges.
