The provincial government will be spending a total of $6.4 million in 15 municipalities in the Kenora-Rainy River Riding on the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund.
Kenora-Rainy River MPP Greg Rickford says City of Kenora will be getting the biggest portion at over $2.3 million.
The next highest amount is the Town of Fort Frances at $1.3 million followed by Dryden at $1.163 million.
The funding is to help communities deal with their various infrastructure costs in 2024.
