A good start to the new year for the Kenora U18 AAA Thistles.
The Thistles edged the Winnipeg Thrashers 3-2 Wednesday night at the Moncrief Construction Sports Centers.
Jackson Tucker scored all three goals for the Thistles with the game winner in overtime.
Tucker is from Fort Frances.
The Thistles continue their home stand on Saturday and Sunday when the Interlake Lightning come to town.
