Four arrested on drug trafficking charges in Sioux Lookout

Four people have been arrested on drug charges following a bust in Sioux Lookout.

The OPP and the Nishnawbe Aski Police executed a search warrant last Thursday on a residence on 7th Avenue.

Police seized a quantity of cocaine, crack cocaine and methamphetamine along with Canadian currency and other items associated with the drug trade.

A 45 year old faces four charges including two for drug trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, resisting arrest and obstructing a peace officer.

Two 41 year old’s and a 21 year old have also been charged with trafficking.

Two have been released from custody and the other two are being held for a bail hearing in Kenora Monday.
