Norman Park to become fully accessible

The City of Kenora is getting funding for more improvements at Norman Park.

The province is providing $60,000 to create a fully accessible nature trail.

The path will connect the sidewalk, parking lot, washrooms and playground at the park altogether.

Once completed, Norman Park will be the first fully accessible park that has lake and beach access in Kenora.

The funding comes from the Inclusive Community Grant.

Seniors and Accessibility Minister Raymond Cho made the announcement.
