Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls receives NOHFC funding

The Town of Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls is getting funding to beautify the road corridor that runs between the two communities.

$180,000 has been promised from the Northern Ontario Heritage Funding for the project.

It includes installing new banners, updating signage, landscaping and improving pedestrian walkways along Highway 71.

In total, the Rainy River District is getting over $1.4 million from the NOHF for five projects.
