Seven Gens hosting a Nex Gen Reality Showcase

The Seven Generations Education Institute is showing off its newest technology.

Both the Fort Frances and Kenora campuses are hosting a Nex Gen Reality Showcase.

Director of IT, Christine Woolsey says they want both the public and students to see what they have to offer.

“It will show people how we differ from other institutes with the extra technology we have,” says Woolsey.

“And just being able to offer these technology experiences that they might be able to have with other schools or even in their own homes.”

Woolsey adds that they have both student and public demonstrations.

“In the afternoon its for the public. In the morning we are doing a student/staff conference. That’s where they’ll learn to use that platform. So we’re trying to promote it more within our organization, and outside our organization in the afternoon, so other people can use it.”

The showcase is free to attend and the Fort Frances event will take place on Tuesday, March 19th and the one in Kenora will be a week later on March 26th.
