Broncos and Saints win at OFSAA

Both Kenora high school hockey teams scored wins this morning at the All-Ontario championships in the Oshawa area.

The St. Thomas Aquinas Saints dumped Hearst Secondary School 7-2 in their final round-robin game.

Sophie Muise, Maddie Hughes and Addy Greer each scored twice in the win.

The Saints finish the round-robin with a 1-1-1 record, good enough for third in their pool, but out of the play-offs.

The Beaver Brae Broncos doubled up Henry Street Secondary School from Whitby 4-2.

Evan Ratcliffe had a pair of goals in that game and evened their record at 1-1.
