Three teams have been eliminated from the SIJHL playoffs.

The Kam River Fighting Walleye completed a first-round series sweep over the Kenora Islanders.

The Walleye won the series in four straight games, downing the Islanders 10-2 on Good Friday and 9-3 on Saturday.

The Sioux Lookout Bombers also advanced with a 4-0 series sweep over the Fort Frances Lakers.

The Bombers capped the series with a 4-1 on Friday night.

The Thunder Bay North Stars are onto the next round thanks to a 4-0 series victory over the Wisconsin Lumberjacks.

The North Stars finished the series, also on Friday, with a 4-2 victory.

The only series still going on is the Dryden GM Ice Dogs and the Red Lake Miners.

The Ice Dogs stayed alive with a 5-4 overtime win on Friday.

The Miners led the best-of-seven 3-1, with game five tonight in Dryden at the Memorial Arena.
