Ignace hosting a nuclear expo again

The Town of Ignace is once again hosting the Northwest Nuclear Exploration show.

It will take place April 12th and 13th.

Over 40 exhibitors, panelists and nuclear industry representatives from across Canada will be attending.

It will taking place at the Ignace Recreation Center.

The Town of Ignace and the Willingness Ad Hoc Committee are helping to organize the expo.

Ignace-Wabigoon is one of two locations in Ontario being considered for an underground nuclear waste repository.

The other one is in South Bruce.

The Nuclear Waste Management Organization is expected to make it’s final decision on the location later this year.
