A 24 year old from Mississauga has been killed in a single motor vehicle collision just east of Dryden.
The OPP say the accident took place around 8:30 Sunday morning in Satterly Township.
The passenger of a commercial motor vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the transport was taken to hospital by Northwest EMO for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Highway 17 between Dinorwic and Ignace was closed for several hours as a result of the collision and subsequent investigation.
