Paving work nearly complete on Highway 17 in Dryden

At least one construction project should be complete in the City of Dryden in the next few days.

Blake Poole is the Public Works manager and says that the repaving and sidewalk replacement on a section of Highway 17 through the city is almost done.

“We’ll finish by the end of this week if things go well,” Poole told city council this week at their open meeting.

“It could be potentially next week, but we’re hoping to get done this week.”

City council has also given Miller Northwest an exemption to the Noise and Pits and Quarries by-laws for its work overnight and milling granular material.
