Blueberry Festival opens today in Sioux Lookout

It’s Blueberry Festival time in Sioux Lookout.

Things get underway today with the opening ceremonies at noon at Town Beach (Farlinger Park).

In addition to speeches, there will be activities, booths, performances, an award presentation, and a community barbeque presented by the Shriners Club.

The Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority is holding a Bannock Bake-Off this afternoon.

The Blueberry Festival will last for a total of 10 days, with activities scheduled for each day.
