Northwestern Ontario now has two provincial cabinet ministers.
Thunder Bay-Atikokan MPP Kevin Holland has been appointed Associate Minister of Forestry and Forest Products.
He will work alongside Graydon Smith, who is the Minister of Natural Resources.
It is Holland’s first cabinet post.
He has been a Parliamentary Assistant to various ministries since his election to Queen’s Park in June 2022.
Holland joins Kenora-Rainy River MPP Greg Rickford in cabinet.
Rickford is Minister of Northern Development and Minister of Indigenous Affairs and First Nations Reconciliation.
