More than a million people in Florida are without power as Hurricane Helene rocks the southern United States.
Helene touched down as a Category 4 hurricane on Thursday, bringing violent winds, torrential rain and dangerous storm surge.
Weather reports have sustained winds clocked at 225 kilometres per hour in some places.
At least three people have died in connection with the hurricane.
States of emergency have been declared in Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas, Virginia and Alabama.
