Two from Lac Seul charged with drug trafficking

Two people from Lac Seul First Nation have been arrested following the seizure of drugs with a street value of $4,500.

Police say they stopped a vehicle on Lac Seul Road on Tuesday.

Lac Seul Police say they used a K-9 unit to search a vehicle.

Officers seized about 48 grams of cocaine, Canadian currency, and paraphernalia associated with drug trafficking.

They’ve been charged with trafficking and will appear in court again on November 27th to face the charges.
