The Kenora and Lake of the Woods Regional Community Foundation is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
It’s holding its 20 years of Giving Challenge today.
Darlene McGillvray is with the foundation and says they are encouraging donations both large and small.
“Come to Copperfin and make a difference in our community,” says McGillvray.
“Meet our team and learn about the Community Foundation and have some cake!”
Executive director of the foundation, Lynn McAughey says they accept any size of donation.
“So, our Giving Challenge is a time for donations that are small…donations that are large. It’s our time to be able to reach out and share with you information about our donors.”
McGillvray says they will be at Copperfin Credit Unit from 10 am until 5 pm and next door at Lake of the Woods Brewing Company from 5 pm until 10 pm.
