A member of Beaver Brae’s football team has received some national recognition.
Kellen Mandamin is the winner of the NFL Canada Way to Play award.
He was recognized for a video submitted by coach Chris Penner of a play, where he stripped the ball from a running back as he was about the score, and ran for a touchdown the other way.
The honour comes with $3,000 for new equipment and a segment on TSN of his play.
