The 20 years of Giving Challenge launched by the Kenora and Lake of the Woods Community Foundation proved to be a huge success.
Over $75,000 was raised last Friday.
Copperfin Credit Union and LOWBRECO hosted the one-day event.
The money received will go into the KLWCF’s endowment funds.
This year, $500,000 is being handed out by the Community Foundation to local charities for various community needs.
