A new President and Chief Executive Officer for Synergy North has been found.
Rene Gallant comes over from Nova Scotia Power, where he was Vice president of Strategy and Engagement.
Synergy North operates electrical systems in Thunder Bay and Kenora.
Gallant succeeds Andrew Covello, who has been in the job for the past few months in an acting capacity.
He also replaces Tim Wilson who retired earlier this year.
His appointment comes one day after Tbaytel announced the hiring of its own president and CEO.
