Provincial cabinet minister takes leave of absence

Ontario’s Minister of Citizenship and Multiculturalism is stepping away from his responsibilities for a period of time.

Michael Ford posted on social media that he is taking a leave of absence to prioritize his health and well-being.

Ford does not indicate how long he will be away.

He informed the Premier, who is also his uncle, about his decision on Friday.
