No one was injured after Dryden Fire Services were called to a business on Highway 17.
A fire was reported in the kitchen area just after 2:00 Wednesday afternoon.
Fire crews encountered thick smoke but were able to extinguish the blaze.
The building was evacuated and fire fighters remained on the scene to help out with ventilation of the smoke.
Fire crews were finally able to leave just after 4:00.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
