The Portage Bay Bridge in Keewatin will be closed a little longer than expected.
It was closed all of last week, and will continue to be off limits to traffic and pedestrians for the next couple of days.
Assessment work on the bridge is continuing.
The city says it will provide an update on the status of the bridge during the week.
In the meantime, the streetlights on the bridge and the south shoreline will remain turned off while work is taking place.
