Trespassing charges laid in Sioux Lookout

A 35-year-old Sioux Lookout man has been charged with breaking into a number of vehicles.

Police were on patrol late last month when they noticed a person with a flashlight acting in a suspicious manner on Second Avenue North.

The OPP placed him under arrest and found him to be in possession of a number of items that didn’t belong to him.

He’s been charged with tresspassing at night.

The suspect was held for bail and remanded into custody at the Kenora Jail.

Anyone who has noticed items missing from their vehicle is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
