29 charges after multi-day manhunt in Dryden

An intense manhunt in the Dryden area has led to 29 charges.

Two Manitoba residents were arrested on Friday after police say they rammed into a parked cruiser in a stolen car.

Officers arrests the pair after closing a stretch of Highway 17 between Meadows Road and Thunder Lake Road.

The 38-year-old man and 31-year-old woman are due in court on Monday in Kenora.

Police are asking residents of the areas of Airport Road/Highway 601, Barclay Hall Road, Meadows Road, Islandvue Road and surrounding areas during the time of this investigation to report anything unusual or lost items to Dryden OPP and to check for any possible surveillance footage.
