The St. Thomas Aquinas Saints senior boys volleyball team have won the consolation gold medal at the All-Ontario tournament.
The Saints finished the round robin with a 2-2 record and put them into the consolation bracket.
There they won their quarter-final, semi-final, and gold medal matches.
TA defeated Valour High School from Petawawa and the consoldation final in three straight sets (25-21, 25,20 and 25-14).
With the win, the Saints finished 9th out of the 20 teams in the OFSAA “A” division.
