An Environmental Assessment has begun on an open pit gold and silver mine in the Red Lake area.
Public comments are now being sought on the Springpole Gold Project.
There will also be a pair of virtual information sessions on the project next week.
First Mining Gold Corporation is proposing to develop the mine, which would be located 110 kilometers northeast of Red Lake.
