Drug trafficking charges laid in Wabigoon

Four people have been arrested following a drug bust in Dryden.

The OPP responded on Tuesday morning around 9:00 a.m. when a search warrant was executed on a residence on Wellington Street in Wabigoon.

Several drugs were seized including cocaine, fentanyl, and oxycodone, and other evidence of drug trafficking.

Two Wabigoon and an Ignace resident face trafficking charges.

A fourth person, a 31-year-old from Ajax, Ontario in addition to three counts of trafficking, faces one count of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and obstructing a peace officer charges.

Three of the people are still in custody pending a court appearance on Friday, while the other has been released and will appear in court on January 6th.
