Canada Post accuses union of moving backwards in negotiations

Canada Post is accusing the postal workers union of taking major steps backward in negotiations.

The company says they’ve tried to close the gap on negotiations in the last few weeks.

But they claim the union is either reverting to their previous positions or increasing their demands.

For example, they say the union wants to shift all contracted employees to permanent positions, including cleaning staff.

But Canada Post says this is unsustainable.
