Two dead, two injured in Highway 11 collision Near Longlac

A collision involving two commercial motor vehicles on Highway 11 between Longlac and Hearst has resulted in the deaths of both drivers and injuries to two passengers.

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Kenora Detachment, Fire Services, and Emergency Medical Services responded to the crash on December 14. The injured passengers were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Highway 11 remains closed as the OPP’s North West Region Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) Team continues its investigation.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Greenstone OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or provide tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
