As Canada Post resumes operations, here’s what will happen to your packages

Canada Post will resume operations effective Tuesday, but you should expect some shipping delays with any mail or parcels.

The postal service says they will begin working through parcels that have been trapped in the system since workers went on strike on Nov. 15.

They will not be accepting any new “commercial volumes” of shipments until Thursday.

They will start accepting new international mail on Monday.

Canada Post says people should expect significant delays in delivery for the rest of the year and into January 2025.
