The mayor of Kenora says he’ll decide later if he’s going to run again.
Andrew Poirier is midway through his four-year term.
He says he still hasn’t decided if he wants another term in office.
“In all honesty, I don’t know, yea or nay,” Poirier said in a year end interview.
“I’ll make that decision at a point in time, whether I decide to run again. But I’m not there yet. I want to look at a lot of things later on in the mandate.”
Poirier suggests there are a number of things that will weigh in on his decision.
“You got to in your mind know that if you win, if you are putting your name in to win, and you do win, there’s another four years there, and that’s a long time.”
Already at least three members of council have indicated they will not be running again.
