Kenora OPP still searching for robbery suspect one year later

The Kenora OPP are still trying to locate a suspect involved in a robbery at a gas bar almost a year ago.

The incident took place on January 4th of 2023 shortly after 9:30 pm at the Canadian Tire gas station.

Surveillance footage shows the suspect entered the store with a firearm and stealing cash from the register.

Despite extensive efforts, including the use of a K-9 unit and the Emergency Response Team, the suspect was not located.

He’s described as an Indigenous male, wearing a black hoodie, a white face mask, black shoes and camouflage gloves.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-22-8477.
