Premier Doug Ford uninjured in highway 401 crash

Premier Doug Ford and his team were unharmed after a crash on Highway 401.

Ford reassured everyone that he’s fine and even joked that his head is “as hard as limestone”, emphasizing that he wasn’t hurt.

Ford said the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) vehicle he was in got hit by another car while returning from the Darlington Nuclear Generating Station.

The Premier was at Darlington for an event, where he discussed plans to strengthen energy supply in response to tariff threats from the U.S.

OPP say two people from the other car were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Officers added that the 18-year-old driver from Oshawa in the other car will face charges of dangerous driving.

Police say the driver from Oshawa is scheduled to appear in court in February.
