Dryden apartment fire results in arson charges

A 33 year old woman has been charged with arson following a fire at an apartment building.

The Dryden Fire Service responded to the blaze around 5:00 Wednesday afternoon on Duke Street.

Fire fighters located a small fire in the building a determined it was intentionally set.

As a result, a Thunder Bay resident has been charged, and in addition to arson, she’s been charged with two counts of failure to comply with an undertaking.

She was held in custody for a bail hearing earlier today.
