Kenora OPP arrest woman on drug charges

A 28-year-old Kenora woman faces a long list of charges after being arrested on Monday.

The Kenora OPP say they were called out to residence about an unwanted person.

Police seized 26.26 grams of fentanyl, cash, weapons and a cellphone.

The drugs have a street value of about $18,000.

In addition to trafficking, she has been charged with trying to avoid arrest, possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and failing to comply with a release order.

She was held in custody to answer the charges in Kenora Court.
