A house fire in Keewatin proved to be a fatal one.
Fire crews responded to reports of a residential fire on Tenth Street in Keewatin Monday afternoon around 3:00.
When they arrived, emergency crews determined there was someone inside.
The person was located but declared dead at the scene.
The Ontario Fire Marshall’s office has been called in to investigate the cause the blaze.
The OPP’s Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Services are looking into the circumstances surround the fire and the fatality.
