OPP investigate theft, arson near Ptarmigan Bay

The Kenora OPP are investigating a break-in, arson and theft near Ptarmigan Bay on Lake of the Woods.

Police say a storage shed was burned down sometime overnight between Feb. 13 and 14.

Around $20,000 words of construction tools and equipment were stolen or destroyed, according to investigators.

That includes two generators, a gas compressor, Paslode nailers and staplers, various other construction tools and fuel containers.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the Ptarmigan Bay area or has information related to this incident to come forward.
