Dryden OPP make drug bust on Arthur Street

Three people have been charged with trafficking and weapons charges following a drug bust in Dryden.

Several units of the OPP executed a search warrant on Wednesday around 10 am on Arthur Street.

Police seized a number of drugs including cocaine, fentanyl, crack cocaine, methamphetamine and oxycodone, a prohibited firearm, about $10,000 in Canadian currency and other evidence of drug trafficking.

A 40-year-old woman from Dryden, a 33-year-old man from Dryden and an 18-year-old man from York face the following charges:

· Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl
· Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
· Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine
· Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – oxycodone
· Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000
· Possession of loaded prohibited or restricted firearm
· Knowledge of unauthorized possession of firearm
· Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
· Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose

They remain in custody pending a March 3rd court date in Dryden.
