It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Clarence Rudkevitch on January 21st, 2025 at The Lake of the Woods District Hospital with his family by his side. Born in Dauphin, Manitoba he was the elder son of Carl and Bertha Rudkevitch.
Clarence is survived by his wife of 46 years Anne, sons Daniel (Erin) and Andrew (Xiaojing), grandchildren Ronan, Daschel, and Rosie, brother Kelly (Maxine), and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Lydia and Tommy and their family.
After graduating from the Manitoba Technical College, he worked as an automotive mechanic before finding his passion as a Marine Mechanic. Already loving Lake of the Woods, he accepted an offer from Pat’s Outboard and moved from Winnipeg to Kenora in 1985 to continue his career.
Clarence loved being outdoors. He spent many hours on the lake whether boating, fishing, water skiing, or spending time at camp with family on Castlerock Island.
Clarence took pride in his family, his work, his friends, and his hobbies. He was always willing to help others and when the opportunity arose he always shared his knowledge.
A life well lived.
Rest in peace dear husband, father, grandfather, brother, ooh ooh, and friend.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Clarence’s memory may be made to The Lake of the Woods District Hospital.
Visitation will be held at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (429 Second St S) on Saturday, January 25th, 2025 from 12:00pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00pm. Cremation to follow. To express condolences and memories, please refer to the online portion.
